Oppo Reno 2Z

On 16 October, Oppo presented the Oppo Reno 2Z in the Netherlands. This is the successor to the Oppo Reno Z, and the more affordable little brother of the Oppo Reno 2. It has a total of five cameras, 128GB of memory, and a good processor, making the Reno 2Z a great device in its price category.

The Reno 2Z is available in two different colours: Sky White and Luminous Black. They both have a stunning AMOLED screen of 6.5 inch that covers the entire front. The front camera is incorporated within the device and slides up when you need it: when you're making a selfie or using face recognition to unlock the phone.

AMOLED display of 6.5 inch

The Reno 2Z has a large 6.5-inch AMOLED display that shows a picture with big contrasts and beautiful colour rendering. Because the front camera isn't on the front of the device, the display practically covers the entire front. The screen is also energy efficient, which is good for battery life.

Four cameras on the back

On the back of the device, four cameras are fitted that each have their own function. The main camera shoots photos with a resolution of 48 megapixels. Supported by the monolens and the portrait lens, you can shoot beautiful portrait photos and you can capture even more in a single image by using the wide-angle lens.

Because the front consists mostly of screen, the front camera is a pop-up camera. The moment you want to take a selfie, this camera pops up. This way, you don't need a notch in the display!

Ample memory

The Oppo Reno 2Z has 128GB of internal storage, which is enough to store all files, photos, and apps for most people. Do you want to store even more content? You can expand the storage space with a memory card!

Use two SIM cards thanks to dual SIM

Besides a memory card slot, the Reno 2Z also has two SIM card slots. This means that you can use two different SIM cards in the device, and you'll be available on both phone numbers. It may come in handy if you like to keep your work and private life separate!

Battery of 4000mAh

With a battery of 4000mAh in your Oppo smartphone, you won't need to worry about a dead battery in the middle of the day. Combined with the economical display, the device can last an entire day on a single battery charge!

Unlock with face recognition or fingerprint

You can quickly unlock your Reno 2Z with face recognition. Another way to access your phone is with your fingerprint. A fingerprint scanner is fitted beneath the display, so you don't even have to lift the device to unlock it!

Good performance for day-to-day use

The Oppo Reno 2Z comes equipped with a good processor from MediaTek. It's not very suitable for demanding 3D games, but it's perfect for everyday apps like YouTube, Netflix, and WhatsApp. It runs these apps effortlessly!

Android 9 Pie with ColorOS

Out of the box, the Oppo Reno 2Z runs on Android 9.0 Pie with the ColorOS skin from Oppo. This means that the software looks slightly different and some features have been added. You can personalize your device by downloading all your favourite applications from the Play Store!
