Google presented various hardware products, including the Google Pixel 3, at their own event held on 9 October 2018. This device features a pure Android experience and high-end hardware. The phone is available in white, black, and sand colours.

The American manufacturer has opted for a beautiful 5.5-inch AMOLED panel, which makes colours look breathtaking. A single camera is featured on the back but, thanks to Google's smart software, the results always look very good. Of course, the Pixel 3 also comes with the latest software!

Pure Android experience

Out of the box, the Pixel 3 runs on Android 9.0 Pie in its purest form, without unnecessary adjustments. This means your device is fast and user-friendly, and you may expect quick updates. The Pixel 3 offers exactly what Google wants: the best experience they can offer.

Single camera, smart software

Where many competitors have released devices with multiple cameras on the back, Google has once again opted for only one camera. That doesn't mean that your pictures look any less. On the contrary, thanks to smart software and good algorithms, every picture looks stunning.

AMOLED panel

The Google Pixel 3 has been fitted with an AMOLED screen, which means you'll get sparkling colours, high contrast, good viewing angles, and low energy consumption. However, you'll still find some bezels on the top and bottom of the display where, for example, the stereo speakers are fitted.

High-end hardware

The Google Pixel 3 comes with the fast Snapdragon 845 chipset from Qualcomm and 4GB of RAM. In all, the Pixel 3 features some great hardware. Combined with the streamlined software, the Pixel 3 is an amazing device.

Large battery and fast charging

The battery capacity will easily get you through a day of intense use. If you do need to charge the Pixel 3 a little, it can be done quickly thanks to Quick Charge. Due to the metal casing, Wireless charging isn't supported.

Fingerprint scanner on the back

Google has not chosen to integrate a fingerprint scanner in the display. This scanner can be found on the back and is sunken slightly. This makes it very easy to find using your finger. With this scanner, you can unlock your device immediately and have complete access.

Pressure-sensitive sides

The Pixel 3 has a touch-sensitive side, which means you can squeeze it to perform an action. For now, this feature is limited to launching Google Assistant, the smart assistant of the American manufacturer.
